We all have it.
I was asked the other day about the mental games we play in our head.
The night before, I had watched a Major League Baseball game and observed the pitcher on the mound. His demeanor was one of confidence…then, BOOM! Three run home runs to lose the lead. He went from confident to grumbling in the blink of an eye.
Life, as well as baseball, is 90% mental and 10% skill. The games we play in our head, “stinkin thinkin” as Zig Ziglar called it, are the things we tell ourselves that are negative.
I can’t do this; I won’t win; I am a failure. It goes on and on…
If we could hear ourselves talk to US, we would not allow that for a second. However, it goes on minute by minute, day by day, and week by week.
Fight back…Get moving…motion is a great remedy!
Listen to positive messages.
Shut off the news.
Kick the negative nellies out of your life…even if they’re family.
Go to battle every day to protect your thoughts!
